• How Do I Unclog A Lost THC Disposable Vape?

If our hemp-loving friends have encountered this issue, they may know how to fix it, while our new friends often don’t. Sometimes, it may be a manufacturer defect, but many times, users can get it unclogged by trying a few things. We’ll list these actions below.

1. When the device has been turned off, inhale using your mouth instead of your lungs. If successful, the sucking pressure will unclog the airflow. 
2. With the device off, try the “Blow And Pull” method. Start by blowing into the airholes at the bottom of the pen. These are the hole/s right next to the charging port. Next, suck the air out hard off the mouthpiece. Be careful of dislodged solid debris. It might get inside your mouth.
3. Heat the device (if the preheat function is applicable, try that first), stick a hairclip or paper clip into the mouthpiece, and swivel it to dislodge anything that may have been stuck that loosened up from the heat. If the preheat function doesn’t work or there is no preheat function (lost THC vapes do have preheat), users could warm the vape up from the outside using a hairdryer on a low setting or submerging the device in warm water. Users will want to put the device securely in an airtight plastic bag and not let water in the bag. Again, once heated, the user can try to remove any debris with a paperclip swiveled around inside the mouthpiece.
4. Deep clean the device. This can be done by removing the mouthpiece (last the Great CBD Shop Team was aware Lost THC devices do not have a removeable mouthpiece. DO NOT try to force it off!). If this has changed, remove it and set it to the side. Users can use the above steps if they believe the clog is in the mouthpiece area. Inspect the device’s airflow vents and any other holes to look for debris/crystallization. If anything is spotted, heat a safety pin with a lighter, gently puncture it, and dislodge it. Ensure the device is dry and thoroughly clean the airflow vents and other parts with isopropyl alcohol applied to a Q-tip. Allow the device to air dry for a few hours, and then reassemble the vape and test it for clogs.
