SporesMD Albino Penis Envy Mushroom Spore 10ml
SporesMD Albino Penis Envy Mushroom Spore 10ml is an exotic strain created from the genetics of the legendary Penis Envy strain. If researchers are unfamiliar with this strain, they may have heard it be referred to as APE instead!
Like its parent strain, Albino Penis Envy is known for its phallic-like shape and its potency. Unlike Penis Envy and some of its other off-shoot variations, Albinos are very difficult to cultivate. These spores are not recommended for beginner mycologists and researchers!
SporesMD Albino Penis Envy Mushroom Spore Syringes come in a small box. Each box contains one 10ml syringe of high-quality mushroom spores with a sterile needle and alcohol pad. No corners were cut while carefully curating these masterpieces. Every syringe was aseptically produced and created in a sterile, contaminant-free environment.
Albino Penis Envy Magic Mushrooms Overview
While this is considered an exotic strain mainly due to its difficult cultivation, it has a boring history. As far as its parent strain, that is a long history we’ll get into at another time. The original Penis Envy is thought to have been discovered or developed by the well-known ethnobotanist Terrence Mckenna.
This strain is said to have been created by a team from Sporeworks. They isolated and maintained an albino mutant until they could provide consistent spore samples. The strain is currently offered by numerous spore dealers globally.
APE is distinguished from other Psilocybe cubensis variants by its unique albino feature. Because it lacks normal pigmentation, this albinism gives the mushroom a distinctive appearance, making it appear pale or white.
The unique morphological characteristics of the APE strain excite mycological enthusiasts and researchers, especially when viewed under a microscope. The APE differs from other varieties due to its distinct translucency on the caps and stems. Smaller, frequently bulbous caps complement the sturdy, thick-stemmed structure inherited from its original PE. Psilocybe cubensis is an intriguing subject for researchers studying the physical variation of the species.
Researchers who enjoy genetics and mutations also love this strain. There are tons of options to explore, with nine other strains stemming from the original PE:
- Penis Envy (original)
- Penis Envy #6
- Penis Envy Uncut
- Old Dirty Penis Envy
- Tidal Wave
- Melmac
- Trans Envy
- Trinity
- White Rabbit
Are Albino Penis Envy Spores Easy To Grow?
As briefly mentioned above, Albino Penis Envy spores are considered difficult to cultivate. Although, just like Penis Envy, the Albino variation is technically relatively easy to develop, there are some challenges associated with growing an Albino variation that aren’t the best option for a beginner mycologist. The APE is very susceptible to aborts and early pinners.
If researchers are interested in cultivating this strain, they can utilize the PF Tek method or purchase the GROmagic All-In-One Growbag or another standard grow bag. This can definitely help the user make a more successful attempt. Unfortunately, these are difficult to get around because they’re part of the strain’s nature, but there are ways to minimize the chances.
- During the incubation phase, keep the the inoculated jars or grow bags in complete darkness until the mycelium has completely colonized the substrate. This will help reduce the chances of early pinning and allow the mycelium to mature fully without disturbance before fruiting.
- If utilizing the PF Tek Method, rye grain, bird seed, or a mix of high mountain compost and vermiculite are the best substrates for Albino Penis Envy.
- Control the moisture levels inside the fruiting chamber with a misting spray bottle and adjust the temperature using a heat mat. The humidity should be kept high, and the temperature should be between 23 and 28 degrees ℃ (73 and 82 degrees℉).
This Strain Is Perfect For:
- Intermediate To Advanced Users
- Researchers
- Collectors
- Mycologists
These Magic Mushroom spores are used for research and religious purposes only unless you live in Cities such as Ann Arbor, Michigan; Denver; Oakland, California; and Seattle. These locations have passed measures that essentially decriminalize psilocybin mushrooms and sometimes other psychedelics derived from plants or fungi. The cities make no distinction between medical and recreational uses.
